  • XMAS PARTY: MBCF collaborates with CCF to fete beneficiaries

In the spirit of compassion, Meena Breast Cancer Foundation (MBCF) has organized a Christmas party for the poor and the underprivileged.

The event, held on December 19, 2024, at the office premises, also saw the MBCF screening and educating attendees on breast cancer.

The party was aimed to bring joy and hope to the downtrodden and to encourage them not to give up.

The program was in collaboration with Crime Check Foundation (CCF) funded by donors of both organizations.

The old, young, and weak converged on the premises of the Foundations to receive gifts including bags of rice, bottles of cooking oil, and some cloths while others also received cash to support their upkeep.

The gesture put smiles on the faces of the beneficiaries as they took turns to testify how Meena Breast Cancer Foundation has helped them receive treatment without stress.

This they say has helped improve their conditions.

“I never had hope of getting such items to celebrate Christmas. I am so happy that my children and I will celebrate this festive season with joy. God richly bless the donors for putting smiles on our faces. If not for the intervention of MBCF, they would have died long ago,” said Madam Nyarkoh.

Among the fifty (50) women who turned up to screen their breasts, a case of strange breast discharge was recorded and the victim was referred for appropriate medical attention.

Meena Breast Cancer Foundation would like to extend its deepest gratitude to all the sponsors, donors, volunteers, and supporters who made the event possible.

“Your generosity, kindness, and commitment to giving back to the community are truly appreciated.”

MBCF says it will remain dedicated to supporting the poor and needy while promoting breast cancer awareness, education, and support services throughout every year.

Meena Breast Cancer Foundation (MBCF) is pleading with its donors for continuous support to enable it to support the underprivileged and orphans in the community.
