The fight against breast cancer requires significant financial resources.

Five benevolent individuals have joined forces to support the Meena Breast Cancer Foundation (MBCF) to implement its actionable activities to stem breast cancer-related deaths.

The individuals, Hajia Iddrisu Saweba, Mama Cecilia, and Madam Francisca in the UK, Sis. Juliana and Nhyira Kuw also in the USA have supported Ama Agyeiwaa who was supposed to undergo 8 chemotherapy sessions but could not afford it.

Before she met MBCF, Ama Agyeiwaa had explored herbal treatment options because she could not afford medical care.

The delay in seeking proper medical care worsened her condition as the cancer advanced to the third stage.

Her condition rendered her unable to work, leaving her reliant on the benevolence of others to survive.

As a single mother, her 10-year-old son’s education had been put on hold due to her inability to afford school fees.

“Nobody wants to be plagued by the deadly breast cancer disease. I couldn’t afford to return to the hospital for the series of lab tests and scans recommended by doctors,” Madam Ama Agyeiwaa told meenabreastcancerfoundation.org.

As though MBCF was her last resort, the mother of two’s pleading eyes greeted the staff as she entered the office, seeking help in her desperate move to save her life. “I returned to the hospital, only to be directed to your office. Someone told me you could help”, she said as her voice was filled with hope.

After listening to her story, the Foundation supported her with the donations of the aforementioned benefactors who through their benevolence have enabled Madam Agyeiwaa to undergo the life-saving chemotherapy treatment recommended by doctors.

Following her treatment, her condition has improved and she expresses her appreciation to Meena Breast Cancer Foundation and the donors for their generosity and concern during her challenging times.
